Fundación Atención a la Niñez offers children between the ages of 0-12 programs in education, recreation, culture, nutrition, and psychosocial support. These programs aim to promote social inclusion, equality, economic development, and ultimately, a better quality of life.
This project helped build a playground for children at an Early Childhood Development Center run by Fundación Atención a la Niñez, in Yolombó, Antioquia. The playground will ultimately help to mitigate the risk factors that these children face (from families living in extreme poverty, often victims of forced displacement), and provide a space for recreation in a municipality where such spaces are scarce.
