The project was conducted by Fundación Volver, an entity created for improving the quality of life of people through programs of promotion, prevention, and treatment for the visual health of individuals from low-incomes families in vulnerable communities. This project sought to improve the visual health conditions and provide solutions for approximately 2,500 children with cognitive disabilities from vulnerable communities in Cundinamarca. It also implemented events that promoted visual health and taught children and their families visual deterioration prevention strategies.
