Supporting education through Enseña por Colombia

Although Colombia has managed to make progress in education in the past few years, the country still has a lot of catching up to do when it comes to students from rural areas and from low-income families. Among the biggest issues they face are the lack of access to education and lack of quality teachers.

Enseña por Colombia (ExC) has been working for the past 11 years to tackle those issues, as they believe that by mentoring dedicated professionals from diverse backgrounds and developing their leadership qualities, they’re able to provide motivated and talented teachers for the children in Colombia.

But ExC understands that to provide a proper education they must include English into their programs, specially since Colombia ranks as #17 out of 20 countries in Latin America in terms of English skills. They are now hoping to launch a new project where they bring exceptional bilingual leaders to their classrooms, but they need your support to do so!

With your donation:

• $50 covers one week of english classes for 30 students with an exceptional teacher.
• $100 covers 2 weeks’ worth of english classes.
• $200 covers 1 month’s worth of english classes.
• $500 covers nearly 3 months.
• $2,000 helps cover a whole year!!
