Ana Frank Pediatric ICU Ward

The Ana Frank Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Ward is located in Cali and has existed for over 60 years in the fifth floor of Hopsital Universitario del Valle. It began as a dream to help children and families living in poverty with basic necessities, but quickly became the leading experts in pediatric care for children who lack healthcare coverage and come from families who cannot afford the medical expenses.
Their mission to help the most vulnerable remains intact, but instead of focusing on just one city, their reach has now expanded to five departments; Valle del Cauca, Cauca, Nariño, Chocó, and Putumayo. It is the only pediatric ICU ward in the southwest region of Colombia that helps children regardless of their socio-economic standing, and estimates say that they have helped over 150,000 children.
The Ana Frank Ward cares for approximately 2,000 children every year, and they hope to continue doing so with your help. Their dream is to remodel the ward and obtain the modern medical equipment/supplies (such as respirators, monitors, cribs, etc.) needed to continue serving the children of the region.
