Fundación Soles Marianos

Although there are many programs that promote education, few focus on children with special needs.
Fundación Soles Marianos is one such organization that works in Cogua, Cundinamarca. Their goal is to help children with cognitive disabilities, Autism, Down syndrome, learning disabilities, and progressive muscular dystrophy in their integral development by designing educational and therapeutic workshops that promote the development of cognitive, artistic, motor, and social skills, teach independence and self-sustainability, and provide employment skills.
With your help, they now hope to build a “kiosk” classroom specially designed to meet the needs of the children, implement other types of therapy, and carry out educational field trips where the children are pushed to work on their interpersonal skills in a different environment.
