Fundación Andrea y Vanessa is a non-profit organization born in 2012 with the purpose of aiding pediatric patients with oncologic and hematological diseases coming from low-income families by offering them food and shelter in order to avoid the desertion of the treatment. Their mission is to foster and improve the life of the children with cancer who belong to the lower economic classes in the Atlantic Coast of Colombia during their treatment by contributing with recreation, emotional, and economical support through an interdisciplinary group formed by psychologists, educators, doctors, nurses, and nutritionists.

The Tanebey Cancer Foundation channeled money to Fundación Andrea y Vanessa and the project “Alimentación Saludable,” which seeks to improve the quality of life of children who suffer from cancer and belong to low-income communities.
