Fundación Proyecto Unión is a home where comprehensive care is given to children with cognitive and physical disabilities and diseases that are difficult to manage, and who have been abandoned by their parents. Among the projects planned for the children are: trying to restore the childrens’ violated rights with a multidisciplinary team specializing in the areas of psychology, nutrition, physical, respiratory and occupational therapy; providing permanent nursing care to improve their living conditions; and trying to help them recover by finding a new family.
For this project, Give To Colombia and Fundación Proyecto Unión, sought to improve the health of 75 boys and girls who had been abandoned in hospitals around the country, most of whom are in serious health conditions. The resources provided by Ace4Milk Foundation helped improve the children’s nutrition with milk.
