In alliance with the IBM International Foundation and IBM Colombia, Give To Colombia developed a project in Villas de San Pablo in Barranquilla where the main objective was to create an Information Technology and Citizen’s Rights School (ITCRS). This school promoted digital literacy in vulnerable communities through two phases: (1) the construction of a technological center and (2) the creation of an academic and entrepreneurship program that will help the surrounding community.

In this latter phase, ITCRS used ICT tools to strengthen the educational processes of the community by providing teachers with training and an adapted curriculum so their students will also benefit, and also by empowering community members and emerging entrepreneurs through training and technical support.
