A New Initiative
Give To Antioquia
Give To Colombia and Proantioquia joined forces to highlight the social challenges in Antioquia, implement initiatives that drive growth in the region, and create better opportunities for its communities.
A Purpose
Your donation is essential to ensure that rural students in Antioquia receive the education needed to reach their dreams. For every $100 collected, you will provide a year of education for a rural student.
What's the Challenge?
In Antioquia, 61% of rural schools only offer elementary education, meaning students must find another school far from home to continue their studies. This distance makes it difficult for rural children and teens to attend high school and complete their education, as the distances between schools and homes are often significant.

Our Dream: Rural Education
Through the ERA Alliance (Education in Rural Antioquia), we have reached 25 municipalities in Antioquia from 2017 to 2022—22 in the southwest subregion and 3 in the Bajo Cauca subregion. To date, 572 schools have been intevened in the southwest region, with 60% offering only elementary education, 10% for middle and high school education, and the rest covering all school grades. So far, the ERA Alliance has impacted approximately 15% of rural schools in Antioquia.
By reaching our goal of $100,000, we can ensure that 900 rural students in Colombia will have the resources needed to attend classes for a full year and get closer to their dream of completing their education.
