Colegio Los Nogales is a non-profit academic institute located in Bogotá that seeks to prepare young students to become holistic individuals, global citizens, and ethical leaders with a strong call to service. Although their students are ble to receive a quality education, they understand that students from nearby public schools may not have the same opportunities they need to reach their full potential. And the breach is only growing wider.

With this goal in mind, they partnered with Fundacion Alqueria Cavelier and created the “Academic Talents Program”. This program is geared towards students from 6 public schools in Cajicá, and  with Fundacion Alqueria Cavelier’s help, Los Nogales is able to continue the education of these students at Universidad de los Andes.

Their vision is to provide scholarships to students who have demonstrated high academic abilities, who may not have the resources to receive a quality education.

Now, they hope to raise enough funds to support a full scholarship for a student for a whole year. With your help, they will be able to:

  • Cover all academic costs such as tuition.
  • Provide school supplies, food, uniforms, and transportation.
  • Provide intensive tutoring for students who may need a boost in english or mathematics.
  • Provide psychological support to guarantee the mental well-being of the student.
  • Cover the costs of extracurricular activities to guarantee a well-rounded education.
  • Guarantee the continuity to higher education/university.

Although the school currently provides 22 students with scholarships, they wish to make this number grow. Please help Colegio Los Nogales make a difference!
