Change a Story, Sponsor a Child

Thousands of children and teens in Colombia live in vulnerable situations such as poverty, food insecurity, lack of access to education, and unstable family environments. These vulnerable children are also more at risk of leaving school. In turn, these conditions affect their development, limit their opportunities, and increase the risk of being excluded from society.

Given that over 40% of children in Colombia live in these conditions, Fundación Posada de Moisés has decided to step forward. Their goal is to work with children by providing a safe environment, food security, as well as academic and emotional support so they can build a life project and dream about their future.  The foundation accomplishes this by connecting children with donors who want to be a part of transformation stories that generate a measurable, direct and sustainable impact.

This project will benefit 40 children and teens in vulnerable situations who are currently being tended to by the foundation. They hope to support them in their physical, emotional and academic development by:

• Guaranteeing daily nutritional needs and basic necessities
• Supporting their academic progress and providing tutoring
• Providing psychosocial and emotional support
• Developing after-school activities in sports, arts, and culture
• Conducting a personalized follow-up plan for each child
• Creating safe environments for children

With only $125 you can support a child for a month, and with $1,500 you can help a child for a whole year.
