TeIntA for Sucre: Workshops for Hope
TeIntA is a grassroot organization that seeks to assess the capabilities of small territories and encourages them to improve these so they may join the current international environment. They achieve this by strengthening the cultural identity of the rural municipalities they work in through the implementation of workshops that focus on innovation.
The foundation uses strategies such as the Business Model Canvas and the Art Thinking Process to help rural populations identify the issues that affect them and come up with action plans that generate solutions. These actions plans will promote competitive and inclusive growth of the area, which will in turn generate new opportunities for the people of these towns.
This campaign will help support workshops for teenagers and young adults in Sucre, a small town in Santander with just over 7,000 people, which has seen its population decline due to the armed conflict of the previous decades. With the newfound peace, safety, and the increasing value of the territory, the town now hopes to turn a new leaf.
