Abracemos a Venezuela
This initiative is inspired by the recent catastrophe and the resilient spririt of
individuals in the U.S. who wish to help.
Together for Venezuela
On Wednesday June 24th, Venezuela was struck by two back to back devastating earthquakes. These reached a 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude, and caused widespread damage in the north-eastern region. Just in the state of La Guaira alone, approximately 80% of buildings collapsed, leaving thousands of people injured, trapped, or missing. An event of this scale is completely unprecidented and the number of people affected keep rising.
In the wake of these events, Presentes Corporación, Alcaldia de Medellín, SOS Paisa, and Give To Colombia have come together to ceate a campaign to assist the people of Venezuela.
Please help us support the Venezuelan communities on their long road to recovery.
Your generosity can cross borders!
While we understand the urge to help by sending in-kind donations such as canned food, clothing, water and other basic necessities, we know that the best way to support Venezuela is by implementing an initiative that directly addreses the needs of the population on the ground and rebuilds the local economy.
In order to rebuild the regions affected by this event, we hope to educate donors and encourage them to become active supporters in all sense of the word.
We invite you to stand with Venezuela. Your support is essential to make this recovery possible.
