Fundación Bahía y Ecosistemas de Colombia is a non-profit organization that seeks to protect and improve the environment as well as social issues. With this goal in mind, they decided to carry out a beach clean-up in Punta Arena. They focused on six critical areas of the beach and was carried out with the help of the Punta Arena Community Council, the Punta Arena Environmental Guard, and the recycling volunteers, and resulted in the removal of 30 tons, which included glass, plastic, recycable materials, and ordinary waste.

The project also provided grocery kits on two occasions, once in September and then again in October, for 90 vulnerable families whose head of household had participated as volunteers in the beach clean-ups.
